The clip is made of very durable materials.

If you have less, your cards will wobble a little and the hold doesn't feel very tight (depends on how much cash you are holding too).

It is so light you barely feel it in your pocket.

I have been using this for over two weeks now and it's not terribly well thought out.

1. I can only get the clip to hold everything securely if I have five cards in it and maybe a note or two. If you have less, your cards will wobble a little and the hold doesn't feel very tight (depends on how much cash you are holding too).

2. When you have five cards in it (it says it can carry up to 5), you are then unable to press the knife release to remove the blade. You have to remove some of the cards for it to work. Even if you have less cards, it's still difficult to remove the blade smoothly.

3. The side of the blade gets scratched immediately when you try to put the blade back in as it rubs against the side of the metal case.

On the plus side, everything FEELS very well made and is of high quality material. The blade is sharp and feels strong once you have it removed.

I can see this being used as more of a utility clip to hold important documents while camping or for some other type of recreational use. As a primary wallet/money clip, it's quite cumbersome to live with...but maybe others will have more luck with it than I did.

Okay here is my in-depth review since all the other reviews are mostly complaints.

First off, the wallet it fairly large. I was surprised when I got it, its about the length of an iPhone 5 screen (the screen, not the whole phone) and it's a quarter less thick than the iPhone 5 itself. It has a heaviness to it. Not cumbersome, but enough to make it feel like it's made of quality materials.

The clip is made of very durable materials. I've had mine for a day now and I expect it to survive drops and scratches. It's also rust proof due to coatings and metal material choice by gerber which is awesome.

The clip holds cards well, tight and secure. A lot of people think they can fit their wallet into this and still have a functional product. This is a MONEY CLIP. Not a metal, knife holding wallet. It will hold 3 maybe 4 cards plus a couple bills before it's knife functionality is gone. If you cannot survive off an ID and two credit cards, do not buy this.

The knife is surprisingly thick. I thought it would be a bit thinner due to the photos but it's actually really sturdy and high quality. It's super sharp too. Some people complain that it's not sharp enough. Sharpen it then. Don't complain about something that can be fixed easily. The knife locks securely into the clip and will NOT fall out. The knife lock to keep the knife in place is physically impossible to accidentally press.

The only draw back is the fact that if you load more than a few card + bills into the wallet, you cannot draw the knife out due to the way it's engineered. I rarely run into this problem because I'm a minimalist with what I carry in my wallet, but when I do, it's hell.

I like the clip a lot actually. It looks awesome as well.

I love using a money clip when I want to carry a slim front pocket. The clip is sturdy and it holds my two credit cards, id, and some bills very well. It is durable and strong but not too heavy. The knife is extremely sharp and locks in tight. It's nice to have a knife on hand because it is useful for a myriad of reasons: opening a box, cleaning my nails, or cutting some cheese. The price point is good too and it's a beautiful object to go with my slim phone. Happy!

This money clip is pretty cool. The only thing is it is hard to put in and take out. It has a nice clasp that locks it in tight, but that also means its tight to take it out. I put about 5 cards and a bill in it and the knife would not come out. Basically too many things in the clip make the knife mechanism too tight and not very easy to take out. I like the design, like the colors, like the idea, but the mechanism isn't the easiest thing in the world. Overall its very cool, but a little hard to use at times. Will find out what its like to use it with time.

What's with all these reviews with people complaining about not being able to draw the blade while it holds 32 credit cards and $5846 cash??? This is a MONEY CLIP, it holds my ID, one credit card, and couple bills. And it does a fine job at that, all while being a knife as well.

I really like this little thing. It feels so sturdy and easily holds more than the recommended amount...except when you go overboard good luck getting the knife out.

It also scratches pretty easily when taking the knife out and putting it back in. Not a huge deal but something I'm sure money clip diva's will complain about it.

I'v been using it for a little over a month now and do not regret purchasing.

Got this for my husband for his birthday. He thought it was the best gift in the world. The blade is a little difficult to slide in and out but I guess that is intentional

Sort of scratch resistant. But is you don't want it scratching anything else this stays in a pocket by itself. Lost a star because if you wrap up 2 $100 bills, 4 $20's, a $10 and 4 singles the knife is hell to take out. This is because the money raises the clip and this pushes against the lock for the blade. This, however, only happens if the cash or cards are pushed straight up into the top of the clip, which is every time. Less cash and everything is ok for a quick blade detach. It is heavy tho.
