5.0 out of 5 stars Buy one size larger
Always buy one size larger for Gerber, especially for taller and bigger babies. Just get larger size just to be on the safe side, since Gerber runs small anyway. Also great for layering in the winter and cool in the summer.

3.0 out of 5 stars Runs VERY Small
These are great undershirts, but are not thick enough to be anything else. Buy up at least one size if your child is on the smaller size, two if bigger. My daughter is in the 25th % for weight and 50th for height and wears 1 size larger than her age.

1.0 out of 5 stars Thin, Cheap, and Poorly Made, February 17, 2009

Out of all of the different brands of onesies I have tried out on my children, these are by far the worst. The material is super thin and not terribly stretchy, making it difficult to put on and take off. Moreover, the seams are uneven and the garments are generally poorly constructed. Four out of the five-pack of onesies I recently purchased actually came apart at the seams around the armpit area within a month of use. I really expected better from the Gerber name. For around the same price, I would recommend Baby Beginnings/Just One Year instead (available at Target). For a splurge (but worth it in quality, softness, and durability), nothing beats American Apparel.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality, June 5, 2011
By far, these onesies are the worst baby clothes we've owned. I get angry every time I see them.

Fabric:
- The cotton is thin and unsmooth.

Size:
- The 18 months-size onesies are shorter than Carter's Long Sleeve White Onesies (12 MO). The Gerber ones just barely fit my 13-month-old son.

Stitching:
- Sleeve stitching does not stretch at all. While the sleeve itself stretches as you would expect jersey fabric to do, the hem is as tight as a fishing line. This is unacceptable for any piece of clothing, and baby underwear even more so.

The only decent thing is the snaps: I've seen worse.

Oh yeah, and they're cheap. I should have known.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap feeling fabric, Runs so small, October 2, 2010
The fabric on these is so thin that you can see right through it. The snaps look like they might pull away from the fabric at any moment.

My 9 month old who is in the 60th percentile is in the 18 month size, and even that is a bit short.

This product is great quality. The only complaint I have is that the size was a little smaller than I expected. Carter did not make a onesie in this size so I went with Gerber and was a little disappointed at the size difference between 18 month Carter and 18 month Gerber. The Carter definitely runs a little bigger so I wish I would have gotten size 24 month instead. My 14 month old son is 32 inches and weighs 26 lbs.

3.0 out of 5 stars Soft but small, January 31, 2012

Next time I will order a size up. They are soft, but too small and dig in to my babys thighs.

5.0 out of 5 stars My baby look so good in it!, January 26, 2012
I understand how everyone was disappointed due to the sizing. It does run extremely small. However, I just LOVE these onesies and how our baby boy looks in it. He practically lived in these during the first month of his life. He was born 7.7lbs and his growth has been around the 50% percentile... so he's not too skinny, but not too chubby as well. He fitted in the 0-3 size nicely for about 2.5 month. However, he could also fit in the 3-6 size during those times, and we notice that the 3-6 size is longer, but only SLIGHTLY bigger. He is now 5 months and it's a bit tight on him.

I'd say definitely skip the newborn size (for babies 5lbs - 8lbs) unless your baby is really small.

This review is from: Gerber 4-Pack Long Sleeve Onesies Brand One Piece Underwear (Apparel)
I have these in my wish list at all times! I have ordered them every time she goes up a size. They are perfect. Well made and thin enough to layer. They look so great under a short sleeve dress in this colder weather. I could not love them more. We use them almost every day. PS... Clean so easily!

1.0 out of 5 stars useless onsies without snaps, January 14, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought a 4-pack of Gerber long-sleeve onsies for a Christmas gift and just found out they have no snaps and were supposed to have 3 snaps at the bottom. Without the snaps, they are useless. Fortunately, I received credit and did not have to return them.
