These are very small hats and would likely not fit a baby much older than newborn. They held up well washing in warm, low heat dryer.

The hats are very cute..the size say (0 to 6mos) yet I don't know many 6mos olds that can fit these hats. Don't believe the hype!! I bought 15 of them thinking they would last..yet these hats are made for newborns (1st few weeks only) so if that's all you need them for then its a perfect buy.

I tried washing them before the baby wore them and they just totally lost its shape..the top of the material smashed into a ball at the top of the hat and was no longer smooth to fit the shape of my baby's head.

My advise would be to only purchase one pack, hand wash them and use on the ride home from the hospital!!

My newborn is 3 weeks tomorrow and I picked up a set of these hats a few days ago at our local Target. The size does say 0-6 months and I figured that since my baby is not even 3 weeks these would be perfect. Wow, I was so wrong, these hats are tiny. They are just way too small even for my newborn baby! My son weighs 8lbs and is in the 51% for weight and 25% for height and his head is smaller then the average size newborns head of 14", his is 13". Anyhow, these hats are just TINY and do run really really small. I would of returned them to our local store but I cut and threw out all the tags. A lesson learned, try on the items before discarding anything! So, buyer beware! If you buy these know they are tiny!

When my baby girl was born they told us to keep hats on her for sleeping for the first month at least and most of the hats we already had were a little big. They would come down over her face as she squirmed around, which was very worrisome. These hats on the other hand were a perfect fit for 0-2 months old and worked perfectly. They are also very cute and hold up well to frequent washing. They are also very soft. I would recommend this hat set and may even purchase more.

Great hats-they fit my month year old son when folded and later will fit also (when unfolded-hats are not sewed in but stay on well). Good quality, double layered.

These hats are perfect. Very soft, not too thin and the theme is adorable. Not to mention, the price was great too. I am so happy with this product!! :)

I had purchased these for my newborn before she was born. I had read that they ran small, but I knew that she was going to be born prematurely (at 36 weeks) and figured that it'd be good if they were on the small side.

I was wrong! While she was tiny when we brought her home (She was 5 lbs, 17" long and her little head was only in the 3rd percentile) these caps were tight. They fit for the first couple weeks, and that was about it. The one hat that I washed on gentle cycle lost it's shape and never fit right afterward. I ended up giving them to my older daughter to use for her dolls.

I will say though that they are definitely cute and very soft. However, I would not buy them again.

I bought these as a gift. They are a great value and very cute. I got nothing but great comments from the new parents. They said they fit just right and were super soft. The colors are great too.

our son was born in February in Minnesota, so you definetly want a cap for the baby at hand. With this pack of 5 I can leave them in different places at the house and have one to "grab and go". We liked the price and the quality. I am pretty sure, as some other people already mentioned, that they won't last until he is six months old, they will propably be too small by the age of 3 or 4 months. I am fine with this and didn't expect anything else. They protected him in his first weeks during the winter, which was the job they were bought for.

My son didn't even get to wear these caps and he out grew them by week 4! There is no way they fit up to 6months.
