These are comfortable, easy to pull down, and really soft. They won't hold a big pee, but they will hold a small pee. They can also contain a poop as long as it is somewhat solid. They make my daughter feel wet so she recognizes when she goes and because they don't hold big pees, the pee will run down her leg and give more incentive to go potty.

Yes, my review is gross sounding, but you are looking at training pants. Get these. They are great and relatively cheap.

We haven't actually used this item yet, but I wanted to get some good sizing info out there!

My daughter is 25 months old, 35 inches tall, and weighs 26 pounds. Her thigh circumference measures 12 inches. The 2T size fits her absolutely perfectly. Not too tight on the thighs at all! I was initially going to buy the 3T because of some reviewers stating the thighs were way too tight. My daughter has some fairly chubby legs but these fit her just fine! Besides, you want the thighs to be somewhat snug anyway to help keep certain things in there if necessary.

The material is very soft and comfy.

The "absorbent" part seems like it would definitely help to hold some, obviously not a full bladder, but I didn't buy it to hold several piddles!

I also bought the "Gerber 2 pack Waterproof Trainers 2T-3T (28-35 pounds)", (they didn't have the smaller size at the Target store I went to) just to put over the training pants for when we go out to help cut down on leaks. These are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too big!!! I think I could almost fit into them myself if the thigh holes were bigger!!! I don't know how even a 35 pounder could fill them out! I figured it was bigger to accommodate going over the training pant, but even so, way too big. I'm even doubting the smaller size (if it exists, I haven't looked yet) would be small enough! I might just get some vinyl diaper covers - probably slightly more expensive - but I want something that will fit under clothes over her cotton trainers.

I'll update my review once we start using these for potty training in a couple of weeks.

****UPDATE****

Decided to just try them and see how well they did. My daughter loved them and looked so adorable wearing them! She did have an accident (both pee and poop) within about 20 minutes of having them on. It was a decent amount of pee so they didn't hold it all, but I was very impressed by how much it did! Only a few dribbles on the floor. Best part, my daughter knew she went, said "uh-oh" and grabbed my hand to run to the bathroom. I'm a little concerned about staining since she did poop in them too, but hopefully it'll come out in the wash with some stain removers. So far, so good!

****update*****

Poo stains came out no problem. Just soaked them in plain water until I could get to them. When I sprayed them with water, the stains were almost gone. Then I used my stain remover, let it sit for about 30 minutes, then threw them in the wash and they came out as good as new!

Also, since the layers are all sewn in, they do not shift or bunch anywhere! SO easy to care for!
