The best I've tried,
By
This review is from: Gerber Breast Pads - Variety Pack 100 Count (Baby Product)
I have tried many other brands of pads and so many of them leaked and barely held any milk. I've also dealt with fuzz sticking to my nipples from one brand. I tried the medium and heavy of these and they worked great. I can wear them all night, or all day at work, and have no leaks. I used the ultra thin ones when I was leaking a little and they worked fine, although I'm sure they wouldn't work if they had to be in for very long. They are visible through clothes, but I haven't found ANY that aren't. I read reviews of so many who don't like them, but for me, they are the best that I've found.

best pads I've tried - great for the light leaker!,
This review is from: Gerber Breast Pads - Variety Pack 100 Count (Baby Product)
I prefer disposable pads, and have tried other thicker pads (avent, medella, laniosh, etc...)- the thickness was evident under my shirt and put pressure on my nipples, bending them and causinng pain. They would also rub and irritate them.
Although I have large milk supply and feed frequently, I don't tend to leak a lot - but I need a pad to protect my nipples and to catch leaks when feeding on the opposite breast. The gerber pads are nice and thin - I've only tried the medium flow and the thin - both were great! Both have adhesive, stay in place, and have not been visible when worn. If I leak more in the future, I'm hoping the heavy flow pads will work just as well for me... Additional uses - my daughter spits up a lot, and I use them like shoulder pads under my shirt - they are thin, stay in place with the adhesive, and are great for keeping my shoulders dry! So for all of the people who bought them and leak - at least you can have dry shoulders, if not dry nipples! :)

Nice & Thin But Leaked Too Much,
By A Customer
This review is from: Gerber Breast Pads - Variety Pack 100 Count (Baby Product)
I tried these and they are nice and thin but everytime I would nurse on one side, the other side would have a let down and I would leak through or soak the pad everytime. This means that in the beginning I would go through a box every 5-7 days because I can't stand that wet feeling. That can get really expensive! I didn't want to use the cloth pads much because they get soaked just as easily and here in Hawaii that means you can get thrush or infections due to the humidity. I switched to using Lilypadz. They actually stop the leaking by applying slight pressure. IT IS SO NICE TO BE DRY!!! They are $20 a pair but they are not disposable so you just rinse and reuse. They really helped me to stop night leaking. Also, you can wear swimsuits, and lingerie without having to wear a nursing bra. They work really well as long as they are applied properly.

I bought these pads when my daughter was just born, thinking that they were a great deal. I haven't tried the heavy flow pads, but the light and med flow didn't hardly hold anything. I had to change them every couple of hours. And you would think that because they are so thin they would be more discreet, well that isn't true either. They wrinkled and bunched up and my nursing bras, and could be seen not only under t-shirts, but under thicker shirts as well. I would suggest going with one of the brands that that are formed to your body. The Medela ones look good, but I haven't tried them. I like the Lansinoh pads. They are more expensive than the gerber, but sooooo worth it. They are formed to your body and are filled with something that turns into a kind of gel. One set will last the whole night, so they are much more absorbant. And they are pink, which for some reason is not as noticable under white T's.

Great pads with tons of variety,

This review is from: Gerber Breast Pads - Variety Pack 100 Count (Baby Product)
This box of breast pads is great. You have a choice of light, medium, or heavy flow. I used the heavy flow when my milk first came in and the baby wasn't emptying the breast all the way. It also comes with ultra thin pads too. Those have a tendency to move around in the bra. The others have adhesive which is great. I would definetly recomend buyong these. They are well worth the money.

I received a box as a shower gift, and they worked okay, unless I changed them a lot though, they ended up leaking. I was resigned to just living with wet spots, until someone gave me some of the Lansinoh pads to try. I have no idea why Babies R Us doesn't arry them, but they really need to. These things absolutely do not leak, they hold tons of liquid.

Best Pads!,

I am on my second time around nursing and I have tried a ton of differnt pads! These ones keep my breasts feeling good. All the others seem to keep the moisture in making my breasts feel sore. These Gerber Ultra thin breast pads are the best! I will only use these. I have waisted to much money on others that only seem to cause soreness. Trust me! These are the best kind to use!

These pads are great. The sticky tabs on the Heavy, Medium, and Light flow pads hold on really well. Even with more leaking that expected a lighter pad will hold up for quite a while. I have never had a problem no matter what strength pad I used. The super light pads don't have adhesive, and can soak through. I use them to double up on top of the leak proof stronger pads. That way if there is a little leak, I can toss the super light one and the main pad is still completely dry.
The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because I don't like that this is a variety pack. I would prefer to buy 100 medium flow pads and call it a day.

The best !,

I love this variety pack. It has light, medium and heavy flow pads. Also most pads have adhesive except for the real thin ones.If you are medium flow, these are the pads for you. It does not put pressure on your nipple like avent does.I tried Avent , it was very painful. Some of these pads are evident under your shirt but some are not. The more evident pads I use at home and the others to go out. It is not for women with really heavy flow.

The heavy flow pads are so absorbent. I didn't have much use for the ultra thin ones by themselves. So I started using them with the heavy flow (at the same time). The heavy flow pads would last that much longer.
