I was in the market for another fixed blade hunting knife and this particular one caught my eye. I hold the highest regard for Gerber knives.
If you want a steal on an all around hunting knife pick the Freeman Hunter up. Worth more than you pay and will last a long while. Very durable knife. Holds a good edge.

This knife is great. It's very comfortable, and the sheath isn't too bulky. My only complaint is that it needs to be sharpened frequently, but that's hardly a chore.

This is a versatile blade that was exactly what I was looking for. I use it for field dressing deer and the drop point and size are perfect for getting into tough places and making precise cuts.
