Not spill proof. Misleading,
This review is from: Gerber Graduates Tossables BPA Free 3 Pack Disposable Cups, 10 Ounce, Colors May Vary (Baby Product)
Bought these recently and water comes sailing out if you tip them over. I called the company to complain, and they said they didn't claim it was spill proof, only spill resistant. Very disappointed and will be returning these. My two year old will have water all over the place otherwise.

I bought these for my twins first birthday jungle party. They were perfect favors for the theme. I am a little disappointed that the lids are not very secure. Otherwise, a good item for the price.

The Best Tossable Sippy Cup,

I love these sippy cups. Their only downfall is that you have to make sure the lid is on correctly. I have purchased five packs of these, and they are inexpensive enough that they can be left in a grandparents cupboard. They go through the dishwasher quite nicely on the top rack. They are very sturdy and the best tossable cup I have found.

Best sippy cups ever and cheap,
This review is from: Gerber Graduates Tossables BPA Free 3 Pack Disposable Cups, 10 Ounce, Colors May Vary (Baby Product)
I agree with another reviewer... These are disposable? I've had these for 3 years and just had to throw awY the first one. And I regularly washed these in the dish washer. What makes them great?
. Simple design, no valve or little pieces . Enables the little ones to get every last drop. Also great if you forget it in the diaper bag as usually there is nothing left . Virtually spill free. Since no valve if shaken upside down they will spill, but only a few drops at a time . Fun designs the kids love . Light weight great for little hands to maneuver . Cheap, you get 3cups and lids for about half the price of any other cup out there I don't suggest as the very first cup to introduce, but after a week or so using a cup they are great.

Perfect for older babies and toddlers!,

I feel like I have purchased every sippy cup on the market! These are great cups to prevent major spills. They provide a semi-steady flow of liquid through the spout. I wash them by hand and in the dishwasher all the time. I think we have had these for at least a year and they are still perfectly usable, they look brand new. They are actually pretty sturdy cups. The faces on top are very cute and my son loves drinking from them. I baby sit my friend's toddlers sometimes and they always want to use these cups. Just make sure you screw the lid on properly or the lid will pop off or cause a steady leak! The leak has only happened twice when I was in a hurry to close it or wasn't paying much attention to putting the lid on. I will be purchasing another set! I definitely recommend these cups for older kids.

These cups are not for young children. They have a simple slot without any valve that can spill easily, but works great for older children transitioning to regular cups. Also if your young child chews too much on the spout, it can get a bit mangled. These do make good party favors as well due to their inexpensive price.

Dangerous cups for babies!!,
This review is from: Gerber Graduates Tossables BPA Free 3 Pack Disposable Cups, 10 Ounce, Colors May Vary (Baby Product)
It cut my 15 month old daughter's face. She got three stitches on the face. The sucking part is so sharp for babies. Don't buy it!!

NOT Spill-proof,
This review is from: Gerber Graduates Tossables BPA Free 3 Pack Disposable Cups, 10 Ounce, Colors May Vary (Baby Product)
I bought these for my son to have around the house. They're even less spill-proof than the take and toss ones. They drip constantly if you turn them upside down. They're also hard to close; I have had them spill all over when my child grabs it from the top because it's not closed properly.
They are functional, but that's about it. I mostly use them w/o the lids now.

After having a child develop speech delays due to over using spill proof cups, I stopped buying them completely. I realized they were one of those crutches that mothers love that actually delay development. But the cups that have a spout, but aren't spill proof, are getting harder and harder to find. I was so excited to find a cute cup with a lid, but not spill proof.
This is my second set that I am ordering. We lost one from our first set. They are "take and toss" but more solid than the plain take and toss cups that I've found before that break easily. We put cup and lid in the dishwasher and have never had a problem. My first set, though down to only two cups, is still going strong on a second child. I loved those spill proof cups because they helped avoid big messes. And I still use them occasionally. But we like to mostly use cups that allow the child to begin to learn to drink properly without sucking. It helps the muscles in the mouth develop properly and makes the transition to lidless cups much easier. You just have to take it away between drinks or they shake it and make a big mess. A great place to practice is in the bathtub with a drink of water. I also like that the cup is clear so you can see when they need more. The lid twists on and off so you don't have to pry it off and spill whatever is left in it. Only thing better would be if it had handles.

I bought these cups for my daughter when she was just starting to use cups and they dripped like crazy. They often ended up sideways or upside down and the water just ran out the lid - free flowing. I threw them all away. If you have a child that always places their cups upright this would be a good cup but I found I was do a lot of extra cleaning.
