Customer Reviews

Baby wouldn't take it at all, square tip seems strange.

My son seems to like this style pacifier the best so I went out and bought two more packages.
K. McNett
This pacifier is amazing because it creates a sucking motion like that during breastfeeding.

I gave this paci to my Daughter when she was only a couple weeks old and she really liked it. I was breastfeeding and liked the idea that it was "like mother". The problem with this paci is that where the soft latex and hard plastic meets there is a seam that saliva can get into. Over time it gets funky in there and mold can grow. Unfortunately, you can't take apart the binky in order to clean it. Even boiling them didn't work. I did end up using these until my daughter was 1. I just watched them and threw them out when they started to get weird. So if you don't mind cycling through binkies every few months then give these a try...

These are the only pacifiers my infant would use (we tried many others!) but I knew that the outside ring contained BPA. While the nipple is silicon, my son would often suck on the outside ring as well. In March of 2009, I spoke with a Gerber customer service rep who confirmed the news that Gerber changed the formula in their manufacturing process and were now coming out with BPA-free pacifiers. After ordering and receiving this product, I was able to compare UPC codes to the one they gave me, and this is indeed the new BPA-free product, although it doesn't say that on the packaging. (The picture here is of the old version--the new pacifiers and the packaging look a little different.) Now I don't cringe when my son is sucking on the outside ring of his new pacifier because I know it doesn't contain BPA.

This is the absolute best pacifier. I tried dozens with both of my children and this is the only one either would take.

I breastfed for two years and let my child self wean. This was the only one that was accepted (about 5 styles tried). I did find the funk in the seams issue to be a bit gross. I soaked it in pure vinegar to freshen and disinfect and scrubbed it with a toothbrush which worked great. However, when I realized that the rim had BPA in it (Mine were from 2008) I switched to the Goldi Natursutten which was an easy switch. It has the same shape and comes in different sizes. It is all natural rubber and a wonderful product. Their teething rings are great too.Natursutten All-Natural Rubber Rounded Pacifier, 6-12 months

This binky is the only one my baby likes! Only drawback is that junk can get stuck in the outer rim and cannot be washed out. Even tried with a toothbrush, boiling water, etc but couldn't get it out and it turned black - gross. I noticed that the ones we purchased are not like the ones pictured or the ones we had before. The plastic color part is clear in the picture and on the older ones we had. Now the plastic color part is solid, and therefore you would not be able to see any gunk stunk between the rim, hmmmm, sneaky. So buy frequently! Baby loves it so we keep buying.

My second daughter would not take the Avent pacifiers that my first daughter liked so much. She was very colicky and this was the only pacifier that would soothe her. I highly recommend it, just check them often when your children start getting teeth, as they might chew on the pacifier and the nipple could be chewed off. Still worth buying many of them!!!!

My baby does not like these!! I notice he makes a lot of airy noises when trying to suck on these. He's a breastfed baby and refuses a bottle he's picky so I wanted a pacifier that was suppose to be closest to like human nipple to a baby. After the airy noises I tied to suck on it myself to test it and same thing happened when I did it. Maybe a good pack for older babies but not for newborns with a smaller mouth probably heck I don't l u keep the airy sound at all it =gas usually. I,probably won't use these ever again... waste of my,money
