Runs VERY Small, August 10, 2009
These are great undershirts, but are not thick enough to be anything else. Buy up at least one size if your child is on the smaller size, two if bigger. My daughter is in the 25th % for weight and 50th for height and wears 1 size larger than her age.

Thin, Cheap, and Poorly Made, February 17, 2009
This review is from: Gerber 4-Pack Long Sleeve Onesies Brand One Piece Underwear (Apparel)
Out of all of the different brands of onesies I have tried out on my children, these are by far the worst. The material is super thin and not terribly stretchy, making it difficult to put on and take off. Moreover, the seams are uneven and the garments are generally poorly constructed. Four out of the five-pack of onesies I recently purchased actually came apart at the seams around the armpit area within a month of use. I really expected better from the Gerber name. For around the same price, I would recommend Baby Beginnings/Just One Year instead (available at Target). For a splurge (but worth it in quality, softness, and durability), nothing beats American Apparel.

Poor quality, June 5, 2011
This review is from: Gerber 4-Pack Long Sleeve Onesies Brand One Piece Underwear (Apparel)
By far, these onesies are the worst baby clothes we've owned. I get angry every time I see them.
Fabric:
- The cotton is thin and unsmooth.
Size:
- The 18 months-size onesies are shorter than Carter's Long Sleeve White Onesies (12 MO). The Gerber ones just barely fit my 13-month-old son.
Stitching:
- Sleeve stitching does not stretch at all. While the sleeve itself stretches as you would expect jersey fabric to do, the hem is as tight as a fishing line. This is unacceptable for any piece of clothing, and baby underwear even more so.
The only decent thing is the snaps: I've seen worse.
Oh yeah, and they're cheap. I should have known.
