Purchased to go with some overalls and under a couple rompers that are too exposing and they serve that purpose well!!
I purchase these white onesies as undershirts for my son during cooler months, so his back & belly aren't exposed under long sleeve t's. I personally much prefer the quality of Carter's white onesies... they are a much sturdier fabric and fit true to size. My son, however, runs very hot... & these very thin onesies seem to keep him a little cooler. The cotton is very thin, and it also stretches out throughout the day as he wear it.
They also seem to get a little dingy looking over time, definitely not as bright as our other whites. My Carter's onesies still look brand new (same wash routine for all our whites).
Overall, these will work as undershirts. They are very thin, and run very small. I would never recommend Gerber onesies as a main shirt for your little one or for embroidery purposes... Use these as undershirts/pajamas only! Carter's onesies work great if you want to use those as a main t-shirt, and they are very inexpensive in store/online with all the coupons they offer.
Another thing to note: why does the next size up in the white Gerber onesies (3T, $19.99) cost over 50% more then the 24 month size ($8.99)? Seems a little crazy, especially considering the quality. I of course will buy them for my son's comfort, but that price should really come down (or quality should go up!) They should also sell the larger sizes in stores... They are hard if not impossible to find!
FYI: Gerber onesies do not work with iplay onesie extenders.Read more ›

I have found that most of Gerber's white onesies seem to fit a little small (especially when I hold them up to a Carters onesie of the same size). Read morePublished 10 days ago by MKkirch
These onesies serve the purpose and are a good value IF you buy a size larger and you don't end up with an irregular. Read morePublished 10 days ago by K. Wilson
These worked for what I needed. They would be great in warmer weather as the material is lightweight in addition to the short sleeves.Published 28 days ago by KEC
