fits true to size and is the only undies our 3 year old will wear.
They also let us know immediately if he's gone without the complete drenching that having nothing on causes.
The fit is great, and they look absolutely adorable on my son!

They were soft and fit very well.

In terms of fit, the 3T training pants fit my daughter well when she was in 3T pants, so I think they're true to size.

She is fully potty trained (with VERY occasional poopy accidents during her naps).

A word of advice: These run big. My toddler daughter is 2 & 1/2 and is average size. She generally wears a size 3T pants. I originally bought the 3T size but returned them because they were HUGE. The 2T were a pretty good fit and still had room to grow. We have been trying to potty train since she was 20 mos old with pull ups and have not made progress in months. She will go if you put her on the potty but NEVER tells us when she has to "go". We tried these and EVERY time she has an accident she says "i need to go potty". At least with these she can feel herself have the accident so it creates some self awareness. These are what I expected: they help absorb puddles a little bit but are NOT a diaper--you will still have to clean up a mess. In general I am pleased, they seem to be helping.

These are really soft, and despite the picture, they look pretty cute on my little guy. There is an extra pad to catch the pee and there is no plastic. 2T was just a little big for my 23 month old (but he is on the smaller side). They aren't as cute as some other underwear, but they are super comfortable. If you are thinking about potty training, I would highly recommend these underwear and the book Diaper Free before Three.

I purchased these training pants in the 18 month size for my daughter because the 2T size fell right off of her. She is nearly 2 1/2 now and weighs 22 pounds. The 2T size fit baggy and the 18 month fit great.
I like these underpants because they are 100% cotton, even the legs and waist is made of soft cotton. There is no scratchy elastic. Even after many washes, the underpants look like new. They have a soft extra padding in the middle which can catch some small dribbles and keep pants dry, but don't think that they are a substitution for pull-ups. They are underwear and if your child has an accident, there will be a puddle on the floor.

A must have for potty training! Pull ups are much more wasteful and expensive. Pull ups also must fell exactally like a diaper, if I put my son in one he is certain to pee in it, not the case with these cotton training pants.

These training pants are thick and absorbent. They're true to size, and they're nice and soft. My toddler loves them! (I dyed hers orange with RIT dye. She insisted on having orange underwear...)

I'm using these with my 7-month-old 20-lb son. We practice elimination communication, and I prefer to have these training pants on him under his pants rather than nothing because they prevent the butt-stamp problem we were having. They also let us know immediately if he's gone without the complete drenching that having nothing on causes. They're certainly roomy on my baby, which is what I'd expect and I'm glad. They stay on just fine and will fit for some time ahead of us. I plan to pick up another pack.

These run a bit large and there isn't much elastic on the legs. My son is a beanpole though and wears 2t but the 18month fit much better in the legs and waist.

I stitched PUL (waterproof fabric) over the padding to provide a little more protection from leaks. Great for daytime training but you need to be quick as the padding doesn't hold very much at all. I wish they were more absorbent.

I have been working with my son on potty training since he was 18 months old and I just got him trained last weekend. I first purchased some Under the Nile organic cotton training pants in size 12-24 months, but those ended up being kind of a waste of money because he outgrew them before he was really ready to train. I decided when he outgrew them to replace them with these, which are 1/3 of the cost and just as good. My son is 30 lbs., 37 inches tall, and is 27 months old. He wears size 2T pants and these trainers fit him well. They did not shrink as much as I thought they would in the dryer, and I wash them on hot and dry on high. We have 10 pairs. You may not need as many, but I liked not having to wash them every night during the accident phase.
If you are wondering whether or not to buy training pants or just use regular underpants, it's personal preference. I think these are handy because if he just dribbles, we don't have to change his pants, just these. They do hold more if he lets loose his whole bladder. I feel like they are just a little extra protection and save from a total mess running down his legs. We continue to put them on him even though he hasn't had an accident in a few days. If you are trying to decide, buy one package and see what you think. I think they are worth it.
They are not 100% cotton, despite the claims. The inner layer in the crotch is polyester, the reason I bought organic for the first round. This may not bother you. I decided in the long run that since he won't be using them for long, it really wasn't worth it for me to spend the extra money on organic. I wanted 100% cotton because I have an HE washer, and I didn't want any polyester stinks. So far that has not been an issue.
