I bought this product because I wanted a sanitizer that could sanitize multiple brushes of all shapes and sizes. The whole process takes 50 minutes. Unfortunately mine stopped working after a month. I thought it was the bulb and contacted Germ Guardian (as instructed in the manual) for a replacement bulb. They told me that they did not provide bulbs and that I should purchase one at the local lighting store. The type of bulb required for this sanitizer is not readily available. I've looked everywhere and no one has it. So now I am using it as a toothbrush holder.

This product worked well for about 2 months. The bulb burned out and I found that this particular, T4, G9 15 Watt Tungsten Halogen Lamp bulb is just not available. I've looked on-line, at stores and other lighting places and it's just not there. Similar 20 Watt bulbs are available, but, of course we are warned not to use them.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Item arrived on time but not exactly as described and used as the photo shown in the advertisement. The unit is larger than it looks in the picture + no place to hold the toothbrushes straight up so the brush heads cannot be exposed directly under the UV light and thus make the sanitizing process less effective !

Like others here you will have no luck finding a replacement bulb, as the US standard starts at a higher power rating of 20watts.
When the manufacturer lists the replacement part number and then tells you they don't have it, it makes me wonder if the entire product line was built around this particular 15W bulb and they only ordered the appropriate amount for installation.
At the very least they should produce an item that uses standard US parts.
I have found a potential source from Bulbs Canada that runs off of 130V so I'm going that direction.
If anyone else finds this bulb between here and Mars let the rest of us know, but in the meantime make sure that anything you purchase runs with at least a 20W G-9 bulb.

The best product I could ever bought. Keep all the family toothbrushes always sanitized. Leave brushes inside and it takes about 15 minutes to desinfect. Great product. Highly recommended. Shipping was also fast and price is cheap. Also a great gift idea for your friends and relatives. They will appreciate it.

Find the product to be very good and it was exactly as stated by the manufacturer. Use this product everyday and very satisfied, would recommend to others.

I love the way your toothbrush smells when it is through with the cycle. It also feels clean in your mouth. I still change my toothbrush about every 3 months but this item really helps to keep it sanitized during that time.

This is a great item. It is very slim fitting on the counter top and doesnt take up much space. It kills the germs with a warm light. I am very impressed with this product and am glad I bought it with Flu season fast approaching.

I love my sanitizer and I'm getting ready to buy two more. It keeps my toothbrush out of harms way and it really dries the brushes. Great buy.

I bought the Germ guardian toothbrush sanitizer a couple months ago and I love it. It is easy to clean. The only thing is that I wish it were a little smaller.
