This recording has some of Tailleferre's best works. Some of the tracks on this recording, however, seem too slow for my taste. I recommend the 1993 German recording of her chamber music if you can find it.

This is a charming and pleasant record. The recording is clean and colourful and the performances seem to me excellent. It is a good introduction to one of Erik Satie's best disciples. The variety of works heightens the depths of each work, while their brevity and quality make them ideal for repeated grammophone record listening. I particularly like the String Quartet (not a music form that I usually care for).
