Excellent for research of aircraft in title,

An overall excellent book with photos of the types mentioned throughout. A absolute must have for anyone researching German WWI aircraft. Very thorough with over 500 aircraft types described.

It is a very splendid book.
One piece of photograph and simple explanation are written in one page. There is several pages of detailed explanation about famous Albatros,Fokker, Gotha,e.t.c. With the fighter , Albatros D1 - DV ,Fokker E ,D1, II III IV V VII VIII,e.t.c With bomber,Gotha GI II III IV V. The diversity of the flying boat ,BrandenburgCC,Oerz W5,Zeppelin-Lindau RsI,II,III Brandenburg W20,the seaplane for U-boat . The airplane of most makers appears. A.E.G,Ago,Albatros,Alter,Aviatik,BFW,Brandenburg,Caspar,Daimler DFW Dornier Fokker Euler Friedrichshafen Geest Germania Gotha Halberstadt Junkers Kondor,e.t.c I am slightly disappointed, there are not the chapter of the machine gun or the engine. Really many kinds of models appear. |
