5.0 out of 5 stars What - they're assault troops
Well, of all the Tamiya models I've worked on, these are by far the poorest quality, but that's just for the finer detail that I try to do. I always add a lot of details to the face and these models are difficult to do that as the eyes literally have holes in them, which was annoying to work around. Don't wast your money or time on this cheap toy. It does not even come together! You have to spend time and energy gluing it together! And if that is not enough work, you have to paint them. But if you do like gluing and painting you may want to try it. As for myself I would not waste my time doing it. I am very disappointed!

Well, of all the Tamiya models I've worked on, these are by far the poorest quality, but that's just for the finer detail that I try to do. I always add a lot of details to the face and these models are difficult to do that as the eyes literally have holes in them, which was annoying to work around. In the end they turned out looking good and they're definitely a value as you get 8 troops. It comes with 3 Kar98K's, 2 MP40's and 3 MG34's and in the poses as shown in the picture, which are pretty good action poses, the only really annoying one was a guy (shown in the very back so you can only see his face and hand) who is in the pose of climbing over something, so you have to get creative when modeling him as he won't just stand up, he is perfect for climbing over the ledge of a halftrack or boulder or something, but I personally like my men to be able to stand and make sense in more than one location. Anyway, it's a good buy and will give you lots of men, and is great if you need a lot of MG's for some reason. The only other complaint is that 4 of the models are in the same pose, although you can change the orientation of the arms and torso just a little bit, it's still a little dissapointing. So there, and for those of you out there that are stupid - YOU HAVE TO PAINT AND BUILD THESE YOURSELF. So stop wasting our time with one star reviews that are incredibly unhelpful.
