Nice pictures if thats what you want but, very little text. I was hoping for more.

If a picture tells a thousand stories this is the book. This is an incredable documentary on Walter Nowotny. The young super aces of the Jagdflieger were metioric success and heroes to thier people. Walter Nowotny was no exception. In a brief period of time he elavated himself to a status equal to todays rock stars. He was not around to be interviewed about his rise to greatness, but this book does a great job (mostly through photos)of telling the story. I was skeptical at first, but found this well worth the purchase price. I like the fact that a lot of photos were used to chronologicaly develope the time line. Without to much writing (there is a great deal of writing)you can feel Karl "Quax" Schnorrers' great pain at the loss of a great commander, comrade and friend. If you are interested in Walter Nowotny at all, this is like having a family photo album (with many great captions). This is probably the best way to truly appreciate this great flier!!!! Enjoy
