I do like the look of the German Helmet but the DOT ones are so big, they look like I'm from another planet. I sent it back but the company was so good about it, I would buy from them again, they were quick with the order and had no problem returning it....

If you are unconcerned with actual protection and are only buying a helmet for compliance and looks, then this should fit the bill. Not only is the liner thin as hell but the shape of the helmet seems to create an airfoil effect, so that the wind is constantly trying to rip the thing right off your head, so any kind of highway riding is like king kong slapping your head back and forth.

Was looking for something a little lighter than the big bulky helmet i have for buzzing the HD 1200 to and from work, this fits the bill. Jafram provides rapid sales service, delivers on promised items without issue. made one exchange (due to size- my fault), within one week of sending return, replacement arrived!

Jafrum to me is "A" number 1 Their quality of what ever they sell can not be matched anywere.The DOT german helmets people say they look big but they are the closest ones to the WW2 originals,& that is why you buy them.along with their quality.I also bought one of there Motorcycle gear jacket.the black with orange strips,the price of $29.95 on sale I can not beleive the look,style,& the workmanship.I bought 1 from SEARS 2 years ago for $69.99 I only got 1 year out of it,But it didn't even come close to this one I got from Jafrum.

Jafrum keep up the great work you do to me alot of companys need to follow your way from start to finish.And your customer service just cant be beat.They go out of there way to please you. THANK YOU

This helmet fits like a glove. While riding, you forget you even have a helmet on and you will look very cool as well. This helmet blows away the pricing on the Harley Davidson brand named helmets, and its every bit, if not more comfortable and stylish than any HD promoted helmet.

I used to hate wearing a helmet and many times went without because they are just a pain. This helmet makes you WANT to wear a helmet. As we all know, we should always wear a helmet but don't for reasons such as looks and comfort. This incredibly low priced helmet, clearly is of a high quality material, and now, I never ride without it.

Additionally, if you have a riding partner clinging tightly to your waste area......... these helmets won't bang into each other as you ride. It's better to be 'bangin' after the ride!!

The helmet arrived in a very timely fashion. It was the right size ordered and the style was as pictured. Very pleased.

Recently I ordered an XL version of this helmet specifically from Jafrum. When I received it, I realized that it was too small, so I decided to keep it(as it's small enough to fit most adults), and order an XXL for myself. When the XXL arrived, I was very shocked to find that the helmet (XXL size) was significantly better quality than the one I had purchased prior. Rather than being an IV2 Helmet, this one is made from HCI (Helmet City Inc). The list price on HCI's website is about twice the price of Jafrum's, so that alone makes me happy I found the Amazon page first.

Over all the construction of the helmet is flawless, though "made in China" is plastered all throughout the helmet, and box, it doesn't compromise the integrity of the helmet; it's well made. The XXL helmet from HCI has a shell constructed of Fiberglass, and naturally a liner of EPS. This makes the helmet "feel" like a higher end helmet. Now the chin straps. The chin straps are made solely of leather, and the strap is a strong braided cloth. As opposed to the helmet I have from IV2(I assume any size smaller than XL, as well), which has more poorly constructed straps. The liner of the HCI helmet is very comfortable, and soft.

Now the IV2 Helmet is about an entire pound lighter, the straps are seemingly made of synthetic leather. The liner has a small inconsistency, it's rough around the edge, but in the bowl of the helmet, it's soft though not thick. The liner seems sufficient, but not extremely sturdy.

In all, I would say if you want a great quality German Motorcycle helmet, go to HCI's website to order a smaller size, though that'll run you about 60 dollars; if your head is large enough, get the XXL and you won't be upset with your purchase. Personally I'm ecstatic, and can't wait to use this thing.

Cut very small. Has a definite styrofoam feel to the inside. I like the German look, but it's just not a high quality helmet.

dear jafrum were do you get off saleing a great helmet and at a awersome price? by now you know im speaking ironically and i dont want you to change a thing! for the money this is the best helmet in the world its DOT approved and looks awersome its so shiny when i looked in the box i could see the future! it is a great helmet i dont see how they can sale it for that but hey im not complaining the same helmet in a bike shop [...]! no way jafrum everytime look on there web site they got any helmet you can think of for cheap!!!!

An excellent helmet that bears a striking resemblence to the WWII Stahlhelm of the German Wehrmacht and other forces. Guaranteed to turn heads (in a positive aswell as a negative sense). Some people can be offended, but who cares?

Buyers from Europe be aware that this is a DOT (US Department of Transport) certified helmet only and is not certified for use inside the European Union (doesn't carry the CE mark). But once again, who cares? If it's safe enough for a Yank, it's safe enough for me!

One thing is certain, and that is that you will look super-cool in this helmet!
