The best "one stop" book on the subject so far...,

This review is from: German Ocean Liners of the 20th Century (Hardcover)
This is an old stand by in the field of German ocean liner study. It's a bit dated looking, but the format is good, the illustrations are nice, and the information is accurate. The only problem is that the book attempts to cover a large amount of information in just one volume, and that means the outlines and information on each particular ship is generally quite brief.
A good book, but hopefully something better and more concise will eventually come along. |
