This review is from: RC German Panther Tank Remote Control 1:16 (Toy)
This RC vehicle is a model of a PzKpfw V/Panther "G" of 1944. Considering its actually intended as a toy, there's some good detailing on the vehicle: the moldings and extra equipment are well done and very accurate. The paint job is typical of early 1944, though on mine there's some black splotches-not entirely appropriate, but not a major issue either. It also comes with decals-the most historically appropriate are the small crosses: mount those on hull sides near the front edge BTW. There are vehicle numbers as well; those should be three-digit numbers (mine has a "9", which doesn't fit the German numbering scheme, no problem to invert to a "6" which does). Haven't measured it, but the overall size and turret/suspension/hull proportions look dead-on. In RC vehicles I've seen, these are changed to make it easier to add the servos inside.
Speaking of which, the turret rotates about 300 degrees, the treads actually DO drive the vehicle-fairly fast actually, the gun elevates-and yes does shoot plastic BB's. The "muzzle velocity" is surprisingly fast, but I doubt it would harm a pet or person. The vehicle is powered by a rechargeable battery pack, and the controller uses a 9v battery. Overall a pretty good effort to combine some RC fun, with a historically accurate vehicle. Recommended.

Great Tank, poorly written manual,

I tested the tank out before I put it under the Christmas tree. The battery came pre-charged, BUT it doesn't say in the manual how long to charge the battery pack for. The tank ran great and the gun is powerful. Some of the extra parts seem a little flimsy.

I JUST BOUGHT THIS TANK FOR $78 DOLLARS AND IT IS WORTH MORE THAN THAT ITS A VERY IMPRESSIVE TANK AND SHOOTS VERY FAST. THIS IS A EXACT REPLICA OF THE GERMAN PANTHER TANK AND I RECOMMEND GETTING IT. THIS CAME SAFELY PACKAGED BUT THE SMOKING FLUID SPILLED ALOT! BUT IT WAS GREAT. BUY IT FROM THE AMAZING TECH DEPOT BECAUSE I TRUST THEM. THE TANK CAME ONLY A WEEK AFTER I ORDERED IT AND ITS GREAT. THE TANK IS HEAVY AND LOUD BUT YOU CAN ADJUST THE SETTING. THERE WAS ONLY ONE PROBLEM THEY DO NOT TELL YOU HOW LONG TO CHARGE IT FOR BUT ITS LIKE AN HOUR AND AN HALF. ITS A GREAT TANK AND WHEN YOU GET IT DO NOT CHARGE IT IS ALREADY CHARGED 100% AND WHEN YOU GET IT AND SET IT UP PUT THE CONTROLLER ON FIRST THEN THE TANK BECAUSE IF YOU DONT IT WONT MOVE. LAST HEADS UP THIS IS A FAST TANK AND WHEN YOU TURN IT ON SOMETIMES IT MIGHT JUS TAKE OFF AT LIKE 10MPH. THIS IS A GREAT TANK AND I RECOMMEND IT AND GAVE IT 5 STARS, THANK YOU AMAZON.
SINCERELY, DANIEL K.
