Of all of the World War II raider histories, this is the best that discusses all of the various Hilfskreuzer. Although each of the ships covered in the book has been the subject of other writings, some more and some less detailed, this book stands out as the best and most readable of the overview raider histories. With this book and its bibliography, one can go on with specific readings and really enjoy the presentation of history.
