I was generally disappointed with this guide. While it contained most of the "must see" sights, "must stay" hotels and "must dine" restaurants, most of the recommendations fell on the high end of the price range. And that's another sore point! A range of actual prices, rather than icons (i.e., $$$$ for expensive) would be much more helpful for planning purposes. Having travelled and lived in Germany I know one can have the experience of a lifetime on considerably less money.
