Guitarist, Composer, David Becker has recorded a landmark with his Group's 6th release GERMERICA. Not only is the musical journey enjoyable, but the fact that it is in 6 channel surround sound makes it even more incredible. The first track "Around the Universe takes you litterally to places where only few have gone! The piece "The truth lies within" is a deep somber, yet colorful composition with variety of dynamic moods.
Because this album is on DVD, the instruments seem to fly around the room and gives the listener the sense of being the focal point of every song. I highly recomend this to your collection!

The David Becker Tribune has been acclaimed worldwide, largely because of their exemplary live performances and also because of the talents of individual members who are amongst the finest exponents of original, contemporary jazz around today. They've played the world over, from London's Barbican Centre to the Jazz Philharmonie in St. Petersburg.

"Freebahn" is a catchy, yet funny song which is perfect for background music.

"The Bus Song" is a song that resembles the after hours of a remote snowy, windy night in Siberia.

`Tchickis', the closing track which carries the nickname of Becker's girlfriend, is another stand-out recording, Becker's signature guitar is conveyed with a great sense of presence, as are the excited percussive elements.


Well, in conclusion, the most memorable song and my personal favorite from this DVD is called "Come In and Find", it is such a beautiful song, like the guitar is speaking on its own.get this DVD today, and play it on the stereo as many times as you want!
