I originally bought this to clean and sterilize plastic/silicone parts for a night-breathing device (which I don't need anymore), but found it handy for things I just don't want to use bleach on. I have had a consistent problem with small mice in my basement/garage area (house is near an open field area), and I use this to "clean up" after it catches one of the little varmints. There is sometimes some (SUPER YUCK!) residue left behind by them (I won't get gross here), and this is perfect for cleaning that up. As many of us know, mice/rats carry all kinds of viruses and such with them, and their urine is notoriously bad-smelling. This cleans it right up. I spray it on the "residue", wait about 5 minutes, then (using gloves) wipe it up with a paper towel. No more residue, and no more smell. Since this is used in hospitals, I thought it was a better choice than inhaling the fumes of chlorine bleach to disinfect the area. I always have a bottle on-hand.

i have no idea how wells it actually cleans but it smells good. i use it on my cpap equipment
