This review is from: Gerontology: Nursing Care of the Older Adult (Hardcover)
This textbook is current and discusses nearly all issues facing older adults. The layout is easy to follow and many diagrams are included in each chapter. The authors offer information relative to today's geriatric nurse. Information is well organized and the typical redundancy or prolonged discussions is avoided. (Isn't it frustrating when authors belabor certain points, using many sentences to say the same thing?). Current research studies are included to encourage evidence-based practice. Political leanings of the authors are not readily evident.
