DELIGHTFUL! TRACK TWELVE, [BARK FOR BARKSDALE], IS NOTEWORTHY FOR THE VIGOROUS, YET SMOOTH DRUM WORK. EVERY SONG CAUSES SPONTANEOUS FINGER SNAPPING OR TOE TAPPING. I FIND IT PARTICULARLY GOOD ROAD MUSIC. IF YOU LIKE THE BARITONE SAX AS I DO, THIS CD HIGHLIGHTS SOME OF MULLIGANS BETTER EFFORTS. THOUGH RECORDED LIVE IN THE EARLY FIFTIES, THE SOUND QUALITY IS STILL VERY GOOD.
