I love these candles. They are beautiful, and very realistic with the drips down the sides. They use regular bateries AA I think, or could be AAA, and last about a month with the batteries that come with it, which I do not think are that good of a long life battery. I have them set on the timer setting on my mantle and they come on every night around 5PM and thurn off automaticly 4 hours later. LOVE THIS FEATURE!!!
Since I liked them so much, I bought them as Christmas gifts and had Amazon ship them to the recipients. A couple of them were broken but contacted Amazon and they sent the another set by next day mail. I find Amazon very good about customer service, and feel confident in buying gifts through the Amazon site. I wish they came in different sizes with the timer feature. I also would like to see them come in the tea lite size with timers.

This candle looks very real and pretty, but the brightness of it is lacking when it is on at night. I have another brand that is brighter and therefore more realistic when on.

You've got to be kidding Amazon....I rate this product pretty high and elected to give them for Christmas gifts.....My issue is with the way Amazon packed the purchase..I was to depart for Christmas with friends out of the country the afternoon the packeage arrived. Opened up to find all three were broken due to lack of packing material. My travels will now continue and being out of the country there is no way to return for a refund....Thanks Amazon...2 day air extra cost looked like they were tossed out of the plane at thirty thousand feet...However Gerson makes a good product
