Hans Gallas has created a children's book sure to become a classic. For those sophisticated parents who want their children to have a well-rounded understanding of the world's artists, look no further than Hans Gallas' "Gertrude and Alice and Fritz and Tom", a charming book about that notorious and adventurous couple Gertrude Stein and Alice Babette Toklas. Sweet and delightfully illustrated, Mr. Gallas serves up a marvelous blend of wit and style for both children and adults to savor.

"Gertrude and Alice and Fritz and Tom" is a heartwarming & lovely story, written with wit & quirk for readers both young & old. The illustrations, reminiscent of Quentin Blakes' work for Roald Dahl, are equally as impressive & humorous. It isn't everyday that someone writes a book about Gertrude & Alice, let alone a children's book... This story is a great read, especially for those looking to steer clear of tired & ordinary children's themes...
