I saw this band perform in Chicago and picked up their album at the show. Now it's a permanent fixture in my car. I love the lyrics and melodies of their music. The lead singer is someone I can certainly relate to...she's about my age and sings about things I'm experiencing too. It's nice to see a band and a singer that's about more than blond hair and bubble gum getting some exposure. Recommend this album to your friends!

THREE AND A HALF HOURS IN THE CAR, 10 DEGREE WIND CHILL, GOT ATTACKED BY A RAT ON THE TRAIN, THE BEST ROAD TRIP I'VE MADE IN 10 YEARS. I HAD HEARD GERTRUDE'S CD AND WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING THEM LIVE. YOU KNOW HOW FEW BANDS SOUND AS GOOD LIVE AS THEY DO RECORDED! THIS BAND MAY BE BETTER LIVE. THEY COMBINE GREAT LYRICS WITH A GREAT SOUND AND THEY HAVE FUN ON STAGE. THEY REMIND ME A LITTLE OF JOHN MELANCAMP WITH A FEMALE VOICE ATTACHED. AND THE VOICE IS AWESOME. YOU CAN'T GET ENOUGH. THE CD IS BETTER THAN ANY CD I'VE BOUGHT SINCE MY FIRST REM CD ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO. BUY IT AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS. WHEN THEY ARE GETTING SERIOUS AIRTIME YOU CAN SAY YOU KNEW ABOUT THEM BEFORE THE MADE IT BIG.

I first saw this band about a year ago in Chicago and liked them immediately. The song writing is very good. Both the lead vocals and the band are excellent. This CD has become a staple of my music collection. If you like good female vocals, a variety of rock styles and solid originals with a lot of hooks, this is the CD for you.

One of my favorite CDs! "Driftin' Nowhere" is one you'll be singing in the shower.
