I have a part-time job delivering meals to mostly older people. A big problem for these people is loss of balance. A number of my customers have fallen! This is serious at their advanced age. Broken bones (especially hip joints) result in permanent disability and even death. I'm 72. My intent is to maintain my balance for as long as possible. The BOSU Trainer is a big help to me in doing so. I'd used the BOSU at Gold's Gym before I purchased the trainer for my home use and thus knew that it was a quality piece of equipment.

As a group fitness instructor, I'm always looking for new ways to use the equipment we have. This is a well illustrated guide to the versatility of the BOSU. Well written.

I just bought the Bosu unit for my home. I read the book and cannot wait to start. There are a few things I really like about this book. It explains all the moves.Secondly at the end of the book it provides a few routines, lists the pages for instructions and lets you know what areas of the body that the routine will help. A well written book.I would give it 9.5, the only thing that would have made it perfect was a workout chart to log exercises.

BOSU is available in most gyms now. Unfortunately there is only one at the gym I go to here on base. Going on to the book... It is very easy to follow. The illustrations coupled with the explanation, keeps you aware of your form, performing the exercises safely and efficiently.

I'm no stranger to intense workouts. In my youth....an avid cyclist and weight trainer. But, between work and parenting, who can work out 1-2 hours a day and who wants to :)? I never thought a Bosu ball could give me a worthwhile workout but, oh yes, it can.
I have two, which allows me to add more aerobic exercises, not that a single one won't get you huffing and puffing. The book has ALOT of good exercises for the entire body.
I recommend the Bosu for those 40 and under and 40 and over. It's an exercise method that can span all levels.

The exercises are very creative and fun to do. I bought the book (and a video) because the book can be reviewed quickly. There are plenty of excellent ideas and challenges for the BOSU. I'm glad I bought the book.
