5.0 out of 5 stars GET THE BLUES WOW!!!!!!!!, September 23, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Get the Blues! (Audio CD)
WOW for only $1.97 I got the BLUES and oh what a feeling it is .
The CD starts with Robert Cray and Baby's Arms which sets the stage for a wide variety of blues styles. It was great to see Delbert MCClinton included with such blues greats as KOKO TAYLOR
Keb MO,Lucky Peterson, Honeyboy Edwards and Walter Trout. I was also proud to see BLUES WOMEN included on this CD Shemekia Copeland shows great promise for the future of the blues while Koko Taylor shows she is reign queen.E.G Kight and "Let
The Healing Begin" was my favorite the piano lead got my attention and the vocal power of this singer kept me handing on every word. This CD will the stir the emotion of any music lover. If you think you might like the blues but have never
been exposed to it before this is the CD is for you. I got the BLUES and I am glad I did.

get aquianted with true blues music as it was meant to be..eg kight is the only independant artist selected for this compilation, which is a tremenduous honor..we need all the independance we can get, right? get this one, you won't regret it..
