With the production of Robert Livingston and the hard hitting digital drum and base composed by Sir Raphael, FP is given all the amunition he needs to write and sing the best possible songs, & thats exactly what he does!!! Though FP is the featured artist on this "Get Closser" Album, their is another artist who deserves just as much recognition for his input. Agian, the pulsating riddim back drops composed by Sir Raphael is what makes this album top notch! Tracks like "Dont Cry" (pt 1&2), "Get Closer" & "Honey Girl" are so well arranged, that they can still be played in a dancehall today!
Other artists Such as Supercat, Trevor Sparks, Apache Scratche, & Wayne Fire (just to name a few) have also recorded albums for Robet Livingston (During this same time period 88,89,&90) with some same & different backdrops composed by Sir Raphael & Digi Pioneers, Steely & Clevie.
This CD is a must have for all fans of Frankie P & that late 80's digital dancehall sound!!!
