I disagree with another review that didn't like this book. So many books just give you general guidelines, but then leave it up to you to figure out a plan. I LOVE this book because it gives a very concrete plan for each day. I was definitely fitter and faster after six weeks. Maybe the other reviewer is a fitness expert, but I'm not and don't pretend to be. I loved the practical advice. This is a great book for somebody wanting to get into shape but doesn't really know where to start.

Nothing in this book that hasn't already been said elsewhere. And said better. The author presents the obvious and provides little or no flavoring from personal experience. The quality of the prose is worthy of a high school student. A few pictures might have helped a bit, but even that's doubtful.
