Great Collection of Songs,

I was excited to see and order this cd. The song selections are perfect and for those wondering...'Do Ya Wanna Get Funky' is the complete album version. The sound quality was good but this is where I was also a bit disappointed and gave it only 4 stars. The description states that this disc is remastered. I tend to disagree. When converted to WAV file, it does not show as if it the songs were remastered and I have 'Do Ya Wanna Get Funky' on another cd that was remastered and a noticeable difference in sound quality. The disc itself and the inserts mention nothing about remastering of this disc either. Now, I am not saying the sound is bad, it sounds good but it is not remastered as I was expecting and as it is described and a bit bummed on that issue. I have a few of the other songs on other cd's and the quality is equal to those older discs.

...but I'm a little disappointed that my favorite song of his, "They Only Come Out At Night" isn't on here. I'm going to buy it anyway and hope that one day a collection will have that song on it. It was the #1 dance song in April 1984. If you want to hear it you can find it on youtube.com. You rock Peter!!

Hard as hell to find and Amazon really took the pain out of it,

This cd was for a woman who means the world to me. She wanted it and I knew I had to get it for her. I spent days looking elsewhere and had almost given up hope. When I came to Amazon, there it was. GJ Amazon! Thank you for this one!
While the music isn't all up to my taste... the song, Come Dance With Me, is a wonderful groovy song!

Being of one racial background and trying to command respect from another can often be one of life's most difficult experiences, but Peter Brown's enormous contributions to the predominantly black world of disco (disco anthems like Dance With Me, Crank It Up (Funk Town), and Do You Wanna Get Funky With Me), have more than earned him that coveted respect.
