This album was the first I'd heard from this band. I have since heard their earlier work and was shocked at how cutting the fat could provide this band with phenomenal groove and lush harmony. Both laid back and aggressive guitar work, killer drums, brilliant bass playing, and great (sometimes Pavement-esque) lyrics. If you were a fan of this bands older albums I could understand not being into this one, however, if you are into music that's more mature than a high-schooler this album would be a good choice. It's rare to find music this stimulating.

They lost too many members of the band to put togehter another great CD. This CD lacks the depth that their self titled CD had. If you like Facing New York and havent bought this CD yet then Dont, it will ruin your love for a band that used to be good.
