Though there are many books written on this subject, this one was clearly the best I have read. It is clear, precise, and organized in a way that gets right down to business (no pun intended). In fact, I have just graduated from business school with several job prospects thanks to the good advice in this book. It will always stay on my shelf as a great reference source.

This book covers what hiring managers want and expect from job applicants and shows how to brush up on resume writing. It also helps prepare for the interview process and includes plenty of sample resumes. In the current economic environment, I expect it will become the bible for many job seekers.

I used this book to help me revamp my resume. It's a tough job market, and I'm still looking for the right job for me, but I am getting interviews and I've been told that my resume is well done. I basically followed the sample resumes in Get the Interview Every Time to re-do my own resume and I've been getting good results.

I have employees in every state from New York to Norfolk VA, an office in Flordia, two in Colorado and three in Germany. I really recommend this book to job seekers. I loved it. I read a great deal while traveling but only write review that are five stars as I don't have time for anythingless. This book I found to be very well put together, and researched, there might have been a few bumps or places I might have said maybe, but in general and as a whole, I love it and will recommend it to others. I am a member of the Aspen Book Club in Colorado, the Brooklyn Hatters Book Club, "The Manhattan Book club" the European book club and the Linnenbach Readers (Book) club. I have to say that I am on the move, on the road so often that read has become an outlet and using Amazons reader a great way to reduce the hours, 5 cheers to this author, I am very happy with this book and will recommend it to others.

I read this book and created a resume that got me interviews immediately. Not only that, but I found a job that is the perfect fit for me. This is a great book for those who are doing their resumes right out of college or for those who want to revise and polish their resumes. Thank you!

This is a HUGE book (6000 some pages on the kindle). It's got chapters on everything from the cover letter to what to do once you have a job. I am still reading it, but so far it has been a lot of sharing results from a survey of Fortune 500 hiring executives. It's nice to get an inside view of the hiring process, and is enjoyable and easy to read. On the kindle, I wish there was an table of contents to easily access chapters. Also, the resumes appear in an awkward format (this isn't the book's fault, rather something to do with the way kindle displays things), so you don't get a full idea of what the resume actually looks like on paper.

As an Executive Recruiter I find too many people losing before they even get their foot in the door. Your cover letter and resume speak volumes, simple errors such as spelling will not show a potential employer that you are very detailed. As a job seeker you need tools to help you stand out from the crowd especially in this marketplace. Brenda Greene has that tool, her book is easy to read and very insightful, it's a must for job seekers, Human Resource Professionals and recruiters such as me.
