Now, of course I love the song "Get Me Bodied." When I heard that it would be the next single from the amazing album, B'Day, I was very happy. I know that I, along with many other Beyonce fans, believed that this should've been the first single. The layered harmonies over the hard, hip hop beat is quite a combination and it's just energetic and different. Its infectious nature comes from its simplicity; I never grow tired of it. (And trust me... I've played it. A lot!)

But the CD single leaves a lot to be desired. While I am overjoyed that Beyonce is still releasing physical singles in a music industry where the format has become almost extinct, there is really no reason to buy this. It includes two tracks: the radio edit and the extended mix. No b-sides, no special remixes, sadly. The radio edit is four minutes long and it has the part at the end where she calls out the different dances (uh-oh, old school, etc.) However, some are left out/shortened and and it sounds very jumbled and choppy. It would've been nice if the editing was done well. The extended mix was already on both editions of B'Day... so nothing new. The cover of the single is very nice. Beyonce is looking beautiful as always, and it's a picture that I hadn't seen before. So that was nice.

So, in conclusion, if you're a Beyonce/Destiny's Child collector like myself, then this will probably be a nice addition to your collection. If you're not a hardcore fan and already own B'Day, then this isn't necessary.

What more can i say about Beyonce... she is everywhere and there is no escaping. So im just going to get to the point...

'Get Me Bodied' IS my favourite track on the B'DAY album and my favourite track Beyonce has ever recorded. Swizz Beatz is just poppin up on tracks like nothing. he is definatley makin a huge mark in '07. the production on this track is just bananas! the harmonies with the hard bass going off and the hand claps just goes together like sugar and kool-aid. then when you think the song is over she has a string of different dances towards the end that i can picture everyone doing in the club.

definatley one of the best party tracks of the past year and i believe she will have another hit single.

I was worried to know which song would be the final US single from BDAY...
outside the US will be receiving GREEN LIGHT as the final single from the album... but the US has the BEST DAMN TRACK off the album which is of course the marvelous GET ME BODIED!

Unfortunately this CD single comes with only 2 tracks, the Radio Edit and the Extended Mix, but they're great! =)
I Think that this song should have been released as the first single from the album B'Day! It would be a big hit for sure =)

Beyonce's music cd - Get Me Bodied is GREAT! The music is nice with strong bass. The lyrics are good and will put the listener in a nice party mode. I reccommend Beyonce's music compact disc to everyone!

If this aint a hot chick (woman). Attitude, piping vocals, dance moves that will are unmatched, beauty and BODY= Queen B-eyonce. She is the Diva for the ages and will definately go down in history. Life hammer said you can't touch this. The girl has got it and no one can deny and even if they do it doesn't matter because she is the B-BBBBBBBBBBBBBBZZZZZZZZZZ. Workit Beyonce.

Great CD, a two song CD with just the two songs, but it leaves you wanting more. Oh yea, the price was great, too.

I Love it this single !

I usually prefer the Extended Mix seeing as it is longer. But sometimes I just want a taste and go for the first version.

Both are peppy and very upbeat and in your face.

I love them so.

But I love Miss B even more.

Her voice, her looks, her sweet personality and her country swagger. I think she's the perfect pick because she's a singer/songwriter/entertainer.
