I had this record 20 years ago an really enjoyed it. But the quality on the c.d. is great. Millie has that smokey, deep gut voice, that makes you feel like the words are being ripped out of your innerself. Her technique is rare the way she flows from one stanza to the next without clipping words or fading. I know she's famous abroad an have no idea why she's not that way here in the U.S. Caught her in concert in cincinnati and it was powerful. Maybe it's just the sexual innuendo in most of her songs. Still if your an adult you'll love her tell it like it is style. R.& B. has transcended all races an lifestyles.

I was having breakfast at a friend's house, and he put this record on. Immediately, our attention was on the music as Millie let go on the man that thought he was going to do her wrong. She was so funny, so passionate, and so powerful... how could we not listen in awe?

Buy this one, just hear her tell her man that this new guy has a log hotter than his, longer than his... and it just burns for hours!

I enjoy buying good old music from Amazon knowing prety well that i always find whatever i am looking for.
