Billy Ocean is one of my certifiable crank it up loud artists. Get Outta my Dreams Get into My Car has one of those lovely ambiguous eighties double meanings until a few years ago I thought of it as another catchy cool danceable number. Billy Ocean puts me in a good mood lifting up from life's dark spots and for having that power alone, it's worth an automatic five stars, but there's actually some good musical interludes in here from a cornucopia of trumpets and has a really cool Caribbean island fused sound in here at points, it's the blending of the eighties pop with some blues and island influences that made Billy Ocean stand an ocean apart from his eighties pop counterparts that faded away as the years went on.
