This is the second book I've bought by Stacey Wolf. She really seems to know what it's like to be young and ready to explore the mysteries of the universe. The first book Secrets of the Signs was about Astrology, this one is more about learning to trust your intuition and realize that we are all psychic. The games and tests are really helpful in showing just how psychic we all can really be! My friends and I were amazed at how much we knew just by trusting our gut feelings! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is beginning to learn about being psychic.

Buying gifts for teenage girls is almost as enjoyable as sitting through root canal work. If you are off even one iota, you become the enemy (at least for one week). This book, however, has been greeted with a great deal of interest and, ultimately, approval by each girl for whom it has been a gift. It is written for this age group; and it doesn't patronize its readers, nor does it become too convoluted and sophisticated. It works for the girls' private worlds and public faces and becomes something they consult either while alone or among friends. If you want something that explores one's psychic world in a deeper fashion, by all means pick up one of Ms. Wolf's other works. But if you're aiming to please this specific age group and gender: Pilgrim, your search has ended.

There is another review of this book saying it is very simple, and not for advanced students. I completely agree! However, if they had bothered to look at the book before they bought it, they would have noted that it was an introduction to psychic intuition and ability. I loved this book, and how well it explained the excercises.

The book uses different psychic "games" to get you into the right frame of mind, and to learn how to focus and concentrate on things that we normally ignore our whole lives.

I thought this book was really well done. With psychic shows popping up on the airwaves, it makes you wonder how psychic you might be. This book is a cool way to explore your psychic abilities. My favorite part is the party games. Too often these types of books take themselves so seriously. It's obvious the author knows what she's talking about, and she puts it across in an interesting way. This would be a fun book to share with a friend as a lot of the activities work well with 2 or more. I highly recommend it!

With a catchy title and lighthearted writing style this book delivers. There are many books on the market about being psychic but none that I have found which had easy to learn games and tests to evaluate your own psychic powers. The author's writing style is light hearted and easy to read.

I thoroughly enjoyed putting my psychic powers to the test and calculating my accuracy rate. It's not rocket science but it is entertaining, informative and pleasantly surprising.

This book is a great starting point into the field of psychic awareness. I would recomend this book to my friends.

I was walking through the store when i came across this book sitting on one the the display racks. I picked it up, didn't even scan through it or anything, and immediately took it to the registers.

After reading through it, i must say that i'm somewhat disappointed. Of course i realized that with a title like "Get Psychic!" i wasn't going to find anything i was really looking for in this particular book.

Basically, all this book was good for was the fact that it makes ordinary people want to reach a little bit deeper into their souls than most people. That is definitely a good thing, but the book barely scratches the surface of what it is to be psychic. The book is written like a How to Tie Your Shoes book for elementary school children. Although the language in this book is simple and easy to read, it lacks the necessary wording needed to really capture the essence of different ways of perception.

For some reason, i suspect that "YOU" are looking for something deeper and more profound than "Get Psychic!" My reasoning behind this is simply that "I Know". So search elsewhere, because this book isn't for you.

To the writer: You are undoubtedly gifted in the field of psychic engergy, and i'd like to see a more in depth work from you sometime in the future.
