BUT this cost less than half the price of some of the more advertised anti-snore devices (like Pure Sleep), so I decided to order it, since my significant other and I had some harsh words about my snoring, and I wanted to keep peace and try to find a solution.

This device has been mostly effective in halting my snoring. My boyfriend had been using earplugs - apparently I'm loud - and he said he hasn't had to use them when I have this Anti-Snore device in place. A few times I've had to re-adjust it because apparently it slips a bit; sometimes he's awakened me to ask if I'm using it because it doesn't always stop the snoring. I re-adjust it and then it works.

The instructions on how to fit it to your mouth are clear and easy to follow. I had to re-fit it a couple of times but I think I have it now.

Downside: it takes getting used to. My mouth feels a bit odd after a night of sleeping with it. Sometimes I wake up and am aware of it and it can take a while before I can go back to sleep.

I would NOT recommend this for anyone with sleep apnea or anyone who has a cold/flu, is prone to headaches, is nauseated or has been consuming alcohol, or has any kind of TMJ disorder. Other than that, this seems to work to alleviate my snoring with a minimum of discomfort. I'd suggest trying this before purchasing a more expensive anti-snoring mouthpiece.

I followed the directions that came with the mouthpiece (looks like an athletic mouthpiece that I use to wear in football and karate). I molded it to my mouth per instructions. I tried it. I sleep on my side probably 99 percent of the time, so I figured it might work. Still snored like a bear. I reformed the mouthpiece again. [...] During the night, when you lower jaw relaxes, your mouth tends to open. That is where the problem begins. If there was a way to keep you lower jaw closed, maybe it might work. I sent my device back after two weeks. [...]

My snoring was so bad my wife states that the house would shake. I couldn't sleep with my wife as of late in order for her to get some proper sleep. I had scheduled a sleep study but knew that I would never use a CPAP machine if I were diagnosed with sleep apnea. I would be tired on most days because I either did not sleep well or my wife would constantly wake me up to stop my snoring. I had tried using the strips, honey, extra pillows, etc., but nothing really worked. I thought I'd give this little thing a try. WOW!!! My wife states that my snoring has improved 95%. She says that I don't gasp for air anymore and that I sleep so soundly. I am back in our bedroom and that makes us both happy. This mouthpiece saved my life and marriage. It takes a few days to get used to but otherwise no issues. I love it because I can breathe so much easier with it & hence I am not as tired the next day. Get this thing if you snore or your spouse is complaining about your snoring. It's inexpensinve and the result is truly priceless. Have a goodnight, literally.
