Finding out that you are going to be a first time grandma is exciting and scary! What do you do? Where do you start? And what is your role? You want to ensure you have a special relationship with that new grandchild -- and you don't want to fail! Dr. Montjar provides wonderful suggestions and ideas as you wait during the 9 long months. No one really cares about the "new expectant" grandma during these 9 months...but Dr. Montjar's book showed the importance of this role. All I want for my grandchildren is a bonding relationship and for them to have lasting memories. Thank you, Dr. Montjar for the thought provoking ideas!

I am so thrilled that Dr. Susan has drafted such a needed piece to guide and enlighten us through "grandmotherhood." She is definitely savy in her writing, but also loving in her teachings. Grandchildren are such a gift, but having the priveledge to share in their lives while integrating the guidance of Dr. Susan's book makes the experience so much more rewarding and life-changing.
