4.0 out of 5 stars I like This Album
This is a good record. Not my favorite Fireside ("Elite" is my favorite) but good none the less. It gets a little boring at points, but other than that, well worth it. Don't pay any attention to the silly sticker some marketing genius decided to put on it, stating: "Creators of the Swedish Invasion". What about ABBA? I think A-HA was from there too...

3.0 out of 5 stars What happened?!
Yeah, what happened to these guys. Did they grow up? Did they succumb to trends? Don't get me wrong, the album is good. Fireside did what they did in the past really good and that what is expected of them. Oh well, cant play the same music all your career.

Maybe Fireside is the Best band to come out of Sweden and were ahead of their time with their first records, but they're hardly the creators of popular Swedish music.

4.0 out of 5 stars Holy Goodness!, September 18, 2003

Forget the soundtrack of our lives, the hives or shara hotnights. Fireside are it, the best swedish rock band in existence. I always heard about these guys and finally bought the record and i was not dissapointed. it rocks with some seriously good hooks. These guys apparently started the whole swedish invasion and it shows with this record...awesome!

these guys used to rock the stage, now, on their latest album, and first on an american label, V2, they are more emo then before. the album is not bad, just not what you would expect from these guys after their previous discs. here's hoping for a return to theold on the next outing.

it's not much more than a decent album. elite is my favorite fireside album too. and i agree.. there are many swedish bands that are better than fireside, seen as how sweden is the world's third greatest country in producing music... but no; a-ha are not from sweden.
