The original United Artists 'Get Smart' sound- track album featuring classic sequences from the mid-'60s cult spy spoof TV series along with two bonus tracks sung byBarbara ('99') Feldon: '99' and 'Max'. This is also the CD debut for both of these tracks! A must for TV buff's & trivia nuts alike. 17 tracks total.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sorry about that, April 13, 2005

This review is from: Get Smart (1965 - 1970 Television Series) (Audio CD)
This isn't really a soundtrack album. It's a comedy album featuring segments from the Get Smart TV show, with new framing sequences featuring Don Adams. The idea is that Maxwell Smart is in a tight spot, and he is reminiscing about past situations that might help him out. The framing sequences were written by Buck Henry. Some of the scenes from the TV show don't work as well without the visuals, but for the most part they are still pretty funny. There are three bonus tracks on the CD. Both sides of a rare single released by Barbara Feldon are here. "99" and "Max" are both silly novelty songs, and Miss Feldon sings off key (the songs are also in the opposite order that they appear on the track listing). The final bonus track is the "Get Smart" theme music. Fans of Get Smart should enjoy this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Maxwell Smart Rides Again, January 31, 1999

This review is from: Get Smart (1965 - 1970 Television Series) (Audio CD)
This CD is comprised of short clips from the original series of Get Smart. It's a great cd and should bring back some great memories. It's weak point is the fact that Get Smart was mainly a physical comedy show, but if your memory is good enough then you might be able to fill in the blanks. :>) For More information on Get Smart contact me @ elp086@ibm.net

The service, number one, was wonderful and once I got this, I was pleased with the cool stories and especially the songs with Agent 99. Thank you very much. Great price for what I wanted.
