This review is from: Get Stuffed: 24 Projects for the Bereaved Pet Owner (Paperback)
I purchased this book as a gift for my father, but after I received it I didn't end up giving it to him. He does his fair share of trapping/hunting etc and enjoys a good joke so I thought this book was a good idea. However I thought the book fell short on both the taxidermy portion of the book as well as the joke. The first few pages cover "taxidermy basics" which were so "basic" that someone not already skilled in the process would have a hard time. The projects also don't provide much detail and rely on you being shocked and/or amused by the idea of a "poodle coffee table" or "hamster tea light holder" and I was amused at first but after two or 3 projects the other 20+ were kinda boring. Also I was initially put off by the size of this book. It's not much bigger than 5" X 5" and 1/8" thick.
