I Believe Montell Jordan is one of the most Talented Artist I have come across in a long time. His muisic displays diversity as well as his talent. I think his muisic is like well refined wine it get's better with age. I could never get bored with his muisic. If he continues with way he is going I believe Montell will have a long career in the muisic industry. "Yo Montell if you are reading my review. I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate the good muisic and keep up the good work!"ÿ

When I heard Montell was droppng a new cd I was ecstatic, until I bought it. The only good song was track #2-Tonight. The rest sounds just like all the other junk that's out now. What happened to the Montell who wrote, produced, and arranged More(MJ's second cd)? His second and third cd's were so much better than this. Purchase at your own risk!

Montell Jordan has come out again with another hot CD. Get it on....tonite is divided into two parts: for those who like it fast and those who need it slow. The transition of the songs are well-crafted and thought out. He gets the body movin' with "Tonite", a bomb track even for those who aren't into the club scene. He keeps it movin for a couple more tracks, then slows it down. The interlude on #10 said, "If you're all alone tonite, you don't want to hear the second half" because it definitely gets you in that mood. The icing on the cake is when Mr. Jordan does a remake of Phil Collins' hit "Against All Odds" with a special ending! Over all, despite the fact that one may prefer some of Montell's other styles shown in previous CDs, this one is a definite must have.

I am by no means a Montell Jordan fan, but this CD is kinda tight. The single "Get it on Tonite" is the bomb, and most of the uptempo tracks are tight. I'm not even a Jordan fan and I enjoyed this album, so I know diehards will love it.

I must admit that I'm not a die-hard Montell Jordan fan like others, but I look for the basic musical elements (production, vocal quality, music, originality) that everyone else does. I give the production a C+, the vocal quality a B (but an A for the Spanish version of "Once Upon a Time"), and the originality another C+. After owning this CD for a couple of weeks, I think it's alright at best. For me, it was a little hard to distinguish Montell Jordan's CD from the Destiny's Childs and Sisqos of the world, but I must admit that "Get It On Tonite" will make you dance. Also, "Once Upon a Time", with its storybook theme, was a great song in its own right, both in English and Spanish. I guess it all depends on whether you like the freaky, "do me" R&B of today (which is what this is), or the more melodic, Johnny Gill/Peabo Bryson/Luther Vandross sounds of a few years ago. I personally favor the latter, so stuff like this doesn't generally appeal to me. If you're not picky about production and you're not too particular about where the music (or the lyrics) come from, then pick up this CD. If you're like me, stick with what you know and pick up something a little older. You may enjoy it more.

What happened to the Montell I used to know.. and love? This CD lacked EVERYTHING his other albums were full of... vocal ability, good production, and decent writing. Everything is overtly sexual, and the only decent song is "Get it On.. Tonite", so don't use the single to decide you want this album! The other tracks sound like they may have been written in a week, and the features are weak. Don't waste your time.. or your money! I would be more inclined to go back and buy "More" or "Let's Ride".

Montell's previous works had a few good songs, but I never really listened to all of the songs on the cd. Get it On...Tonite has some unbelieveably hot songs that totally amazed me. The cd is divided into slow and fast songs, so if you're a person who likes it fast, you can just go straight for the fast ones.

I can't begin to count the number of times I have bought a CD for the song I heard on the radio and hated the rest of it. Montell Jordan's new cd, Get It On...Tonite is NOT one of those ! I have listened to the cd, in it's entirety, every day, since I bought it. When I listen to each and every song, I feel as though I am there.....I am watching what's going on and can feel the words ! For anyone who goes to clubs, you will love "Why You Wanna Do That? (Ooh Girl)" ! The female background vocals on the entire cd are oustanding as well. This is a must have !

I BOUGHT MONTELL JORDAN'S "GET IT ON TONITE" A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER IT WAS RELEASED AND LET ME TELL YOU, YOU THOUGHT HIS OTHER CD'S WERE HOT, THIS ONE BEATS ALL! IT HAS SONGS YOU DANCE TO, SONGS THAT ARE ROMANTIC AND SONGS THAT ARE JUST PLAIN GOOD! SO IF YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT YET, YOU NEED TO BECAUSE IF DON'T, YOU'RE MISSING OUT.

I've never heard a better R & B Album before. I never heard a better voice before. I never had feelings like that by listening to music before. I love this album. And I love this voice. The feelings he's expressing, no one is able to express than himself! His groove is like his voice and although I knew just 2 songs before buying this album, I love it more than anything else I've ever bought!! I'm from Austria that's why I had to search more than half a year for music by Montell Jordan. And that's why my English is not as good as yours!
