Honestly, I thought Montell was gonna disappear off the face of the music industry, becuase we haven't heard from him in what seems like a long time. But, Mr. "this is how we do it" is back, and I have to say that this might be his best song to date. From the catchy chorus to the great hook, the only thing this song could do without is the lyrics. It's about cheating, and I really don't think that's cool at all! But, a song is a song, and I won't protest about music's questionable areas, because I've never heard of anyone killing nobody with a CD. But anyway, not only does this single have get it on tonite, it also has an awesome remix with LL Cool J, and it also includes the seocnd single off the LP, Once Upon A Time. Let me tell ya, this song is just so beautiful. If you're really into music, it'll bring a tear to your eye. So, for 3 bucks, you get the two best songs on the album and a remix with one of the most influential rap artists in music history. Sounds like a good deal to me!

Hits like "Let's Ride" and his catchy anthem "This Is How we Do It" shows that this Pepperdine University graduate has the skill to dominate the music charts. Despite the success of Montell Jordan's latest single: his lyrics as well as visuals for the video for "Get It On Tonight" can be viewed as eyebrow raising by some R&B and crossover pop chart audiences. However he maintains to sing decently along true R&B lines as well as possessing accompanying catchy groovy beats which can win people to the dance floor.

Overally, Montell Jordan's single "Get It On Tonight" receives a Kenny rating of B-.

Even though this song is over three years old, it still has the ability to get people up and dancing at the club. The mixture of the beat, melody, and Montel Jordan's smooth voice makes it a perfect dance song!

Another great thing about this CD is the remix of "Get It On...Tonite" that Montel Jordan did with LL Cool J! The remix is an even hotter track than the original!

I am a fan from Jamaica and Montel Jordan is rocking the clubs like crazy. That song gets rewinded 3 times in our clubs. It is definitely the R/B song of the millinium.
