There is a word I can't stand: fine. Women use it over and over again, and rarely mean it. "I'm fine," "Everything's fine, thanks," "Never mind, I'm fine, I'll just do it myself." Pay attention to the way men talk. I find that, generally, men don't use the word "fine." Men are better at saying, "This is a problem I have that I don't know how to answer," or "This is where I need some help." Men are better at reaching out and seeking assistance.
