I thoroughly enjoyed this book !
A Gem with Great characters ! Have fun with Nicki's travel to a parallel world where her hardships, integrity,and ingenuity are fully challenged. Endearing and compelling.

Sola's imagination and sense of humor kept me turning the pages. The book is a modern day "Alice In Wonderland" with the main character, Nicki Rodriguez, stuck in another dimension populated with strange beings, posessing their own weird lexicon. It's a laugh and a half per page. I can easily see the story converted into an animated movie. The characters are that good! I recommend it for pre-teens through adults.

Planet Ecchs ! Perswassick County ! Here comes Nicki Rodriguez or better known as "Ig" as per Dr. B.Z.Z. Gneeecey. Nicki is found in a world full of technicolor and canine-humanoids that won't let her go home. The adventures of Nicki,Fleagosity, the mafia trio "Mark & Mark & Mark", Culvert,the driver-duck, Cleveland, Flubbblub, and so many list of characters to keep the pages moving. Let alone, the menu has some gourmet sandwiches to remember, and of course quick pick-me-up, Merk Perk. They are out to save the earth, along with the good diroctor, who makes the reader go through an emotional roll-a-coaster. But Nicki, takes them all on and she's not dreaming. Days turn into hours to save the earth. Fun reading for the Sci-Fi fanatic. Vicki Sola,describes each and every word, creating the feel of each character. Enjoy everyone and have fun!!!!!!

It is very funny and it would have you laughing at the characters that run things in this parallel world of
Perswayssick County that are opposite of our planet.

I'm currently reading this book and am enjoying it. I get a kick out of the character names and made up towns. Looking forward to reading more and posting more.

Was it a dream? Or did our heroine Nicki Rodriguez dimension jump into a world ruled by canine humanoids? A world where a mouse might serve you your goonafish melt. And a duck who drives a block long limo. And a caped canine super hero with ESP, and whipped cream addiction. And of course the Grate One, Gneeecey! The Getaway That got Away is a great read from beginning to end. All along I kept wondering how much of this (Sci- Fi) novel is autobiographical? Author Vicki Sola has a very vivid imagination! She tells a great story! And yes, our heroine Nicky Rodriguez does makes it back home. And the door is left open for a sequel. I wonder if Gneeecey gonna be calling Nicki again? I guess only Vicki Sola knows the answer to that!
