Not the best first starter Spanish learning book!,

I found this book not very practical as an introductory book in learning Spanish. It doesn't give you step by step lessons in learning the language. It's all over the place and outdated.
I only bought this book, as it was required for my class. As it turned out the teacher wanted us to get a different book because she felt that this one wasn't very good. She was very right! Her reccomendation was for the greatest Spanish learning workbook I have ever come across... Get the book called 'Spanish Verb Tenses' by Dorothy Richmond. I also bought it's partnered book called 'Spanish Pronouns and Prepositions' by the same author. These books are fantastic!!! I have been breazing through them. They are easy to go through and has everything clearly stated and leaves no room for confusion or frustration.

This book is designed to be used with CD's that are not available and it lists a web site that works with the book and that web site is no longer working. It is hard to use he book with out these things.
