Women in all professions need a "personal publicity plan", June 13, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Getting Down To Business: Marketing and Women Lawyers (Hardcover)
This is a very good introduction to the need for women in law to market themselves. If you're waiting for a boss, business colleague, client or friend to spread the word about your talent and expertise, or the terrific pro bono work you do-you might as well put your head in the sand for all the visibility you will get! DONE RIGHT, personal publicity is good for you, good for your law firm, and good for the people to whom you reach out and give the best you have to offer in information about the law, your services, and your experiences. Marketing for women in law is not a luxury. It is a MUST! Three cheers for Deborah Graham for bringing this problem to light.
